I steal all your sweatpants and I use your toothbrush when I forget mine, but babe, I love you! It’s crazy to me, thinking back, on how many memories I have with you that make my heart light up! Like when you took me on our first date with my entire youth group AND my parents!! I should have known then you must have liked me! Or when we sat in the driveway at your house looking up at the stars and you told me that I was the one you wanted to marry. I’m pretty sure I rolled my eyes at you and said ” Yeah, okay.” because we had only been dating three months at that point. Two months later, you read a super cheesy poem and got down on one knee.  How was that three years ago?!?

Remember when I ran into your classroom on your lunch break and showed you the three pregnancy tests I took? We laughed and then cried. We were going to be PARENTS together! And now we have a crazy almost two year old who adores the snot out of you, and watching you love her is literally the best thing I could ever be apart of! I can’t stop thinking about all the little and big memories we have made together that has brought us to where we are today! All the moments that I hold near and dear have you in them, and I cannot express how thankful I am for that!

You have been around for the good, the bad and the ugly. You see all my flaws and call them beautiful. Thank you for that! Thank you for taking care of us, for stepping into the leader role even when its SO hard! Thank you for leaving little notes on the counter for me to find when we go to make lunch! Thank you for defusing stress on wedding days with a fart joke or weird dance moves! Thank you for putting others first. I love that you are a “favorite teacher” to so many students and encourage them to do their best! I love your heart for others! Thank you for being a man I am better with, than without! You are one hot 28 year old!!
