There’s a picture in one of our old family albums that has always resonated well with me growing up. Its a picture of my mom and dad on their wedding day.  She’s in a dress, he’s in a tie and they stand side by side as they start their life together. Without a clue as to what they were doing, they stepped out in faith promising each other forever + they chased a dream they believed was worth chasing. Twenty-five years. Twenty-five years of love and laughter. Twenty-five years of tears and hardships. Twenty-five years of living. That, my sweet friends, is a legacy that I think everyone wishes to have one day. I know I do.

My parents have built a life + a business full of love. And because of that love, my little family has an example of how to live it! How to chase your dreams and be courageous, even when its scary. Joanna Gaines once said in a recent interview; ” When you take a step out in faith, when it makes absolutely no sense, that is where the greater reward is.” This could not remind me more of my parents and the legacy they have created!
