YOUR WEDDING DAY TIMELINE / WEDDING BLOG SERIES PART: 3

May 2, 2017

Filed in: Education, Weddings

Here’s a topic that can be somewhat intimidating. Your wedding day TIMELINE! It’s not always the most enjoyable process of planning your happily ever after, and to be honest it can sometimes be a tad overwhelming, but it is a crucial component to your photography experience! I know… no pressure right? Don’t worry, we’ve outlined below some of the MOST IMPORTANT timeline events that could make or break your photography, and where we think they should fit on your wedding day!!

Side note: Every wedding day begins and ends differently! We love helping each of our brides and grooms perfect their timeline that will fit exactly what THEY WANT! So if you’re feeling a little uneasy, reach out to your photographer for help!! They should be more than willing to provide a helping hand & expertise in fitting everything you dreamed of for your big day!

THE DRESS usually between 2pm – 3pm :  This is the time the bride gets into her wedding dress! We usually ask that all the bridesmaids, flower girls and mother of the bride to be dressed and ready to help the bride get into her dress! This is a pretty big moment that the bride will ABSOLUTELY want photographed! So by having everyone else ready to go, we are ensuring that everyone looks nice for these images!

THE FRIST LOOK usually at 3:30pm : We talked all about the first look and why we HIGHLY suggest you consider one, last week! You can view that HERE We love first looks! If our bride does not already have a location set up, we take some time prior to that day to pick a perfect, secluded location for them! First looks normally do not go over 45 minutes! We jump right into bride and groom portraits and bridal party portraits right after to make sure that is all done BEFORE the ceremony begins!!

IT’S FAMILY TIME : Normally family portraits will follow right after the ceremony ends! This is to make sure ALL family members are present and ready to go! We usually ask for 20 – 30 minutes to get these pictures done! We also ask all of our brides to have list of family formals they would like to have! This includes their names so that Travis will call them out and I will snap! It’s a quick process when we have a list of 10-15 family groups!

SUNSET BRIDE & GROOM SHOTS usually between 6pm – 6:30pm : This is always our FAVORITE time with our brides and grooms! We usually sneak our B&G away right after dinner for 30 minutes for some BEAUTIFUL sunset portraits! This is the time that we like to just have you breath, reflect on the day you just had and enjoy each other while we grab some more portraits! These become the pictures you hang all over your home! Trust us!! It’s a perfect way to end a perfect day!

  1. I have been surfing on-line greater than 3 hours as of late, yet I by no means discovered any fascinating article
like yours. It’s lovely worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all site owners and
bloggeers made just right content as you probably did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.

I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to see a great blog like this one nowadays.. baggddgegeba
